Lismore Theatre Company are holding auditions for their October production of A Doll’s House at the Rochdale Theatre.

The show is written by Henrik Isben and this production is adapted and directed by Kylie Fuad.

A Doll’s House is a classic full length play and a strong relationship drama. We are looking for performers who are keen to delve into detailed scriptwork and character analysis. Although written over 250 years ago, with its themes of gender roles and the deceptive nature of societal expectations, and the current rise of the ‘trad wife’ movement, A Doll’s House remains very relevant in 2026.

Show Dates: 9th – 24th October 2026.

We are auditioning for the following roles:

Doctor Rank: male identifying actor aged 30’s – 50’s

Mrs Linde: female identifying actor aged 30’s – 40’s

Nils Krogstad: male identifying actor aged 30’s – 50’s

Anne, their nanny: female identifying actor aged 60’s

The role of Nora will be played by Elyse Dallinger.

The role of Torvald will be played by Yasir Assam.
